I was not surprised that my mom responded the way she did because we have discussed before what would happen if I were pregnant. She would support me and my decision but it

• What responses to the flour baby project surprised you? (i.e. What friends, family, or strangers said or how they acted)

People immediately stared and probably thought it was a real baby or something. Some people asked me what it was and what it was for, but mostly people just told me how cute she is(: My mom thought it was a good idea for us to experience what its like to carry a baby around everywhere you go.

• In what ways should we have started this project differently? (i.e. If we had it to do over again, how would you have started the project?)

We started the project perfectly. Everyone is having fun with it and there are no issues. I think we should have had partners but it is more realistic to act as a single parent.

• What was the most surprising about the "Baby Costs" project?

That by the time a baby is a teenager you may have spent over $200,000. That's why they say when you have children you have no money or time for you anymore, your life goes to your kids. Also just the price of items, especially diapers, are super expensive for something you purchase every week or so.
